Guitar Lessons by Eric Chan

I'm a full time IT company's Multimedia Designer & Photographer, but I'm also a private guitar teacher for part-time. I teach classical, folk, electric guitar & music theory. I like to teach only because I like to share my experience with others who also like guitar music as me.
As I'm not a full time Guitar Teacher. I teach at my home in Jordan district, all students don't need to bring guitars and effects, all equipments are provided.

I have taught more than 9 years, as a experience guitar teacher, the music course I have in mind are for beginner and intermediate players. The course will cover the following area :

Lesson should be conduct in Cantonese with English.

To be my student, you may expect to learn some Pop, blues & Latin Rock or Acoustic fingerstyle music style. Such as Kotaro Oshio, Eric Clapton, Gary Moore, Carlos Santana.. And more.. if you want to learn some speed stuffs like Steve Vai, Paul Gilbert, Jacson Becker.. my lessons is not for you.

The emphasis is not on the speed skill or learn how to play whos guitarist songs, but on practical application : how to play Blues songs with feel, how to solo, how to develop your music mind, with the eventual goal of playing in a band and performing on stage.

As a student, you can expect my full and undivided attention to monitor your progress and to design a structured lesson plan to suit your need. As your tutor I expect the following from you :

1. I expect my students to come on time for their lessons;
2. I expect my students to work on the materials taught at home and be able to play them in the next lesson;
3. I expect my students to make an appreciable effort to learn the materials taught;
4. I expect progress from my students in each lesson. I am more than happy and will do my best to make sure there is progress on the part of students so they can enjoy what they are learning. I full expect students to really work on the materials taught.

Private Lesson
Tuition fees are HK$750 per month (4 lessons in total) and they are pre-paid.
Each lesson will be 45min in duration and 4 lessons are given in each month.

Group Lesson ( 2 student )
Tuition fees are HK$550 per month (4 lessons in total) and they are pre-paid.
Each lesson will be 60min in duration and 4 lessons are given in each month.
